ADOPT A CORAL AT ALUNAN RESORT PERHENTIAN KECIL - MALAYSIA
Coral reefs are one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. Although they cover less than 1% of the ocean, they are home to more than 25% of known marine species. The Alunan House Reef plays an essential role not only for marine wildlife, but also to the local community as they provide food, create tourism jobs, protect the shoreline and acts as a source of education and awareness.
Unfortunately, the reef is severely threatened due to the effects of global warming, pollution, uncontrolled tourism and destructive fishing practices.
As the coral reef is an inseparable part of our home, the Alunan Coral Project was set up to rehabilitate and protect our precious reef. Successful conservation can never be achieved alone, so we invite you to join us on this journey.
